Reading in our own way
Today we sat down in a circle and all read a story in our own way.
We all listened while an adult read a story to us, then it was our turn to pick a story of interest out of a box of stories.
We all looked and read our stories in our very own way.

Mirror time
This afternoon, we examined various features of our heads, including our ears, eyes, nose, and mouth. We used mirrors to observe the features of our faces. The children enjoyed making silly faces in the mirrors

Circle time
Today we had our first circle time.
The children all came and showed an interest in what was going on and came and sat on a chair and joined in.
The children who joined us were all looking at the screen and the adult who was singing and interacting with them!

Sensory room fun
Today, we spent time in the sensory room. We enjoyed unwinding and discovering the various features, including the bubble tubes and the vibrant lights and patterns on the walls and floor. It was a delightful and calming experience for everyone in the sensory room.

Breakfast time

This morning, we gathered around the breakfast table together. An adult assisted us by presenting a range of breakfast choices. We patiently waited for our turn to select a breakfast option, everyone was full after breakfast

Outside play
We stepped into our outdoor area, where a variety of toys and activities awaited us. We enjoyed taking turns with the water table, trampoline, balls, and books, engaging in all the fun options available. Everyone had a fantastic time playing outside and exploring the different resources together.

Our first lunchtime
During our first lunch at school, we were served a selection from the dinner tray to sample various foods. We also brought our own lunch boxes in case we weren't fond of the hot meal options, and we all practiced using our knives and forks to enjoy our meals.

First day on the trim trail

Today, we introduced our new students to the trim trail located in our lower playground. The kids were thrilled to explore and engage with the various equipment on the trim trail. They had a fantastic time navigating the climbing frame, stepping over the logs, descending the nets, and racing鈥�

Our first time in the bouncy room
Today, we had a blast in the bouncy room, climbing up the stairs and ramps to discover all its fun areas. Sliding down the slide and bouncing on the soft floor brought us so much joy!

For our super job in sports day we were awarded a medal for all of our hard work during the activities.
We are so proud of the children for how well behaved they were and how good they were at the activities.

Sports Day!!!
Sports Day!!!
Today was our sports day, we all looked amazing in our PCA P.e kits.
It was amazing to see all of the children families here to join in and support the children.
Everyone did amazing from throwing balloons to holding parachutes to playing with Pom Pom's.

Guitar playing

Today in 1P we were exploring playing the electric guitar.
Miss Smith brought in her guitar and gave us a performance to show us the different pitches that she could hit with the guitar being loud and quiet notes.
We all had a good long go on the guitar and we all loved making notes on the鈥�
